I fondly remember this climb as it was the first trip that I led as a leader for the California Mountaineering Club/CMC way back in August, 1996. The route description is correct and is more accurate than Secor’s description. There is another description in the 100 Best Climbs of the High Sierra. I thought there were a couple of easy 4th class moves to climb up to the summit block. I agree with Eric Lee, we encountered a little bit of loose rock on the route, perhaps it got worse over the years. My name is Mike Zimmerman aka Alpineskier7.
