On Pinnacle Butte NE. From the summit, you can follow this ridge down to the drainage that separates this ridge from the north ridge. Follow the drainage to its confluence with Bonneville Creek; from there, it is a very short uphill hike to regain the trail from the Bonneville Pass Trailhead.
The Brooks Lake Cliffs and Buffalo Fork Peak are visible in the background. If you enlarge this and look closely, you can even see the Grand Teton and Mount Moran.
