This is looking down the route of rocky boulders full of spiderwebs and spiders. The canyon that leads to Alsop Lake is narrow the whole way and is a beautiful green lawn. This route is very tedious and not a little dangerous as the rocks may decide to come after you as you descend if you try to move too fast. Crossing the high-running creek was also a challenge (to stay dry anyway- always a fine idea when about to go bouldering). It took me 30 minutes to find a spot to cross without taking my boots off.
