If you do have a high clearance 4 wheel drive vehicle , you can drive up Chihuahua Gulch and eliminate about 4 miles one direction, their is also numerous free campimg spots along this road. There are a couple of very rough sections, but anyone with a little off-road experience will do fine. You will come to a sign that says No Motorized vehicles beyond this piont, park here and proceed up to the saddle of Gray's and Torrey's
