Not really a correction, just a note regarding the last 3.8 miles of the drive to the trailhead as described on the main page:
I only made it about two miles up this road before the ruts and such made it impossible to get any further in my 2WD car. Luckily, there was a little pull-out area and I parked there. This added about 3.5 miles round-trip to the hike, but it was no big deal.
Just a heads-up that if you don't have a 4WD and high-clearance vehicle, you likely won't be able to make it all the way up this road, even in the summer, so plan for a few more miles of hiking.
