South Approach

There is a nice route which comes from Marmot Lake with only roughly 1 mile of off-trail travel. Leave the trail near the outlet of the lake and cross over two short hills. Then make an ascending traverse due north to the crest of the southeast ridge. Follow a goat trail up the ridge crest until the upper most terrace is accessible. Follow that terrace north to where it joins the other route on the northeast ridge. Scramble up the ridge and descend a class 3 chimney to a notch and then traverse ledges around to exposed heather slopes on the upper north face. Class 2 and 3 to the summit.
