If you park at the TH on Rt 74A and hike to the dirt road through the Florence Nature Preserve you will have zero problems. The dirt road to the top is used to drive up to service the telecommunications equipment so use that and avoid climbing fences or walking up driveways. The area had a localized ice storm in November of 2019 but considerable trail work was done to clear the trail and I encountered no issues in November of 2020.
