I wouldn't really consider this a "climb"... more of several miles of good gravel road, followed by 0.8 mile and 600 feet elevation gain on the last section of gravel road. Wonderful views in all directions, especially to the south toward Thielsen, Diamond Peak, Crescent Lake, Big Marsh, et cetera

Tom Fuller
I hid a geocache named Odell 7007 (GC15V6V) on this date. I had visited the tower at least once before and several times since.

Soloed
Did this one unaided and solo after already climbing mighty Bald Mountain to the east (IN THE SAME DAY NONETHELESS!!!). Between the two I managed a whopping 1000 feet of elevation gain and traveled a total of almost 3 miles!!! Seriously though, I am just padding my P2K stats before I move up to Tri-cities Washington, this seemed like a good way to spend an afternoon rather than packing.

Cool Lookout!
After noticing this lookout while out camping for the 4th of July weekend, I wanted to take a closer peak. An actual road to walk on, but chose to scramble through some bushes and rocks to make it a bit more interesting. Fun rocks to climb around on at the top and great view of the nearby lakes! :)

road walk
Tagged this one after doing Twins Peak. The gate was open so I could have driven to the summit, but I don't like to do that, so I stopped a few hundred feet below and walked up about a third of a mile to the summit. Scrambled up to the benchmark from 2 different directions, some fun scramble spots all over the summit. No one manning the lookout, a bit late in the year for that I imagine. A nice end to a fun day.

Walked the road
This one is definately worth the short walk up the road. The ranger in the lookout invited us up to take in the views from his vantage point. The views were great and the ranger was quite friendly. This was the first time I visited a lookout that was currently in use. I hope to visit some more in the future.

Road Walk
This is an easy hike up a road to the fire lookout. A bit of a scramble up the rocks to get to the top rock.

Road hike
I had done Paulina Peak earlier in the day and finished up a fun day by hiking this just before sunset. The lookout at top was being manned by two people but I didn't take the time to interrupt their work efforts.
