On Mount Wilson

I'm sitting just below the summit of Mount Wilson in Arizona. It was very cold and windy that day. I thought this was a really neat rock formation. It reminded me of Easter Island figures. Except that this one was not carved by humans, but by nature itself. Photo by Henry Jingle. The Black Mountains. Winter 2007.

Easter Island !!!

You're just blowing me away with your images. Hey, did you know that there's actually desert Bighorn sheep living in the Vermillion Cliffs of N. Arizona. Being a resident, I didn't even know until I looked it up on the Sierra Club's web page. CHEERS to you & all your photos !!!

That's good to know. I'm always attracted to places that are bighorn habitats.
