Definately looks

as if this coyote knows what it's doing!
A tender morsel of rabbit, maybe? I just
saw one in Arizona drinking water out of
a muddy lake. I think they really know
how to survive out here.

You're right. This and another coyote were lurking around Convict Lake Resort all the time, coming into the resort at nightfall to find some food around the cabins. I often observed the coyotes when they kept their distance during the day laying in the sun not too far away from the cabins.
