One lone bristlecone tree..

It is hard to tell there is even a tree there but it was so covered in hoarfrost and a smattering of snow that it was hard to notice it at first. It was the only bristlecone on our ridge but looking over across the valley there appeared to be more of them on the opposite ridgeline. The elevation of this tree was 10,000 feet.
