I walked over the mountain twice but didn’t hit the summit. It’s worth it to say I climbed a mountain called Otis though : )

via Wham Couloir
Climbed the Wham Couloir (40 ft of WI3+, 30 ft of M4, and 700 feet of snow slogging) and then hiked up the east ridge to the summit. Descent via scrappy gully to the west of Wham/Zowie. 9 hours car to car.

Powell Couloir Route
Started around 5:30AM. Trail already carved out to Sky Pond. Crampons and ice axe helpful for bottom of couloir. Sun warmed the upper section. Lots of loose snow avalanches seen on Taylor Peak, Taylor Glacier, and Powell Snowfields during ascent. Followed Continental Divide to climb Taylor, Otis, Hallett, and Flattop as well. Back at car around 3:45PM.

Flattop Mountain Trail
CMC trip, there were 8 of us. We started around 6AM and reached the summit around 9:30. The weather was still looking good, so we decided to go for Hallett Peak. Quite a few hikers higher up, most were going for Hallett as well. There was still some snow here and there on the Flattop Trail, but it will be gone soon.
Continental Divide traverse from Flattop to Powell and back down Flattop trail to Bear Lake.

Nice traverse
Traverse of Flat top, Hallett and Otis and decend down Andrews Glacier to the Loche. Was a very rewarding day since all my regular climbing buddies were working and couldn't do anything more technical. Turned out to be a great day in the mountains.
