I am amazed that you remember where each stone comes from...I have several jars of small rocks and pebbles that I have picked up over the years. I remember where some of the rocks came from, but some I don't. I also have a some pebbles in my car, from the last few trips...
Hmm, good point .. this kind of thing is actually illegal in many areas. Sounds silly, but what if everyone did it ? It's probably more of an issue in certain areas than others.
Hello, Erik!!!
I supplemented an introductory text to my album and I hope that SP members do not see now "a black background" in my presentation. Any comment and suggestion on my album I accept very friendly.
Thank you very much!!!!!!!

Your remark is very important in respect to gathering anything in mountains. I do not propose to collect anything from summits, from protected areas, from places endangered by erosion. Here we must remember about rules which are well known for geologists working in mountains. I hope that members of SP are adult and conscious men and accept all the restrictions applied in mountains to protect them. I will add a proper text to the introduction to my album. Thank you very much for your supplement!!!!!!! It is really important for our activity in mountains.
Thanks once again!!!!!!

Interestingpage. Sort of a rockhound myself, I can't help picking up pebbles.
