Imagine buttermilk, chocolate chip, and blueberry pancakes all in one glorious stack. Now think of the equivalent in a backpacking boot and you’ll get The North Face Dhaulagiri II GTX Boot. The North Face stacked several different layers of footwear technology to give you a smooth and sturdy platform for heavy hauls over long distances. For the perfect topping, they put in a waterproof breathable Gore-Tex membrane so you can splash and thrash your way through the wild landscape.

Features

Northotic footbed with Poron forefoot and heel inserts cushion your foot with every step
Heel Cradle technology incorporates a molded EVA X-2 insert into a dual-density polyurethane midsole for enhanced shock protection

Vibram Duratek rubber outsole is the last tasty layer that holds you to the earth with its cleverly designed self-cleaning lugs and heel brake
X-Frame lines the interior of the ankle to prevent rolls and sprains that are so common and dangerous on long-distance backpack trips
Gusseted tongue keeps the small stones out of your boot that slow the trek’s pace

Great new
Item on my mountaineering closet. Got them on North Face store at San Pedro de Atacama at a very reasonable price, hard to believe.
Great boots, very confortable, soon I'll be getting them dirty on the trails!
