What kind of birds? In the alps we have the Alpine Choughs (scroll down - somewhere in the comments you'll find a few thumbnails to the real beautiful photos), which play with the wind in incredible ways.
Thanks for adding this one - I'm glad someone beat me to it. As the most southern of the prominent peaks along the Sierra Crest, this one deserves to be recognized.
