Owl and Electric Peak

Electric Peak (10969') in the background. We sat back and watched this owl snag some field mice for a while before continuing toward the base of the mountain. [I apologize for the somewhat strange saturation and halo effect, I used the highlight/shadow controls in photoshop to reveal the owl from the shadowy blob that it appears on film. This is from the beginning of the summer, when I was still figuring out how to use my SLR] (June 2005, Yellowstone NP, MT)
