West ridge in winter with Rachael. Was definitely more than we bargained for! After having been up this ridge in summer and seeing the lower part on our approach, we thought this would be a fun quick winter scramble, but the upper ridge was much snowier than evident and forced us into a lot of sketchy traverses. Descended the north ridge, that went much better!

windy day!!!
PC Combination - from Mohawk Lakes, traversed onto Crystal and descended Spruce Creek Drainage.
Also, walked over to Father's Dyer from Crystal.
This peak is 13950 feet. It is essentially one drainage north of Quandary, the 14er. Yet even though Pacific Peak is in an amazing setting, and is a great peak with a sharp summit, there is literally no one on it, and there are hardly any signs that anyone ever does this route. Yet if it was 50 feet higher, you'd be with a crowd of people. All hail the high 13ers!

SE Ridge
Went up the Mohawk Lakes drainage and up a grungy gully to get to the SE Ridge. Overall very nice and scenic hike; highly recommended.

Traversed over from Atlantic. Probably one of my favorite summits. So rugged. Decent via north saddle.

West Ridge
Drove my Forester up to the upper trailhead without too much trouble. Climbed the West Ridge from Mayflower Gulch. Overall a cool route with some exposure. Headed over to Atlantic and down Atlantic's West Ridge.

From Crystal
Mostly straightfoward, with a bit of a scramble from the notch. The NW couloir looks like it would be fun when it's in. Trip report.
Loop fm Mayflower Gulch to Atlantic, then Pacific, down Humbug Creek and parallel hwy 91 back to vehicles.

Like if it was in winter
Wow, I soloed this peak. I postholed for several miles from Mayflower gulch to the saddle between Pacfic and Crystal. Then I continued North Ridge, it was steep and with nice scramble between the false summit and the truth summit. Then another postholing in the forest in the evening. Overal great trip.

Second time up this peak, this time up the scrambly West Ridge. The scrambling is not too hard, but there is some loose rock especially in the gully used to bypass a technical looking tower lower on the ridge. Traversed over to Atlantic as well to go "coast to coast".
