Packer Lake Valley from upper road, rising to a col saddle. But beware, that face of North Butte is beyond that, rising up out of Sardine Lake's basin. This road switchbacks around to this high ridge, thence curves around to the West through forest and up behind that butte, whence one can hike up to the lookout too.
