Skyline Trail, Mt. Rainier NP - August, 2009 Heading down from the peak of High Skyline is a good side view of Panorama Point and those same guided mountaineers shown earlier hiking upward. Here they stopped to practice glissading for at least a couple hours. If you look closely you can also see the path people have taken crossing the Low Skyline Trail in the snow to the dry section of the Low Skyline Trail.

I thought it was fascinating to watch given that they still had to hike up to Camp Muir that day and it was already after 2 or so.
