north northwest bowl
climbed up from mc donald creek more or less directly up the large bowl that makes up the north/north west side of the peak. we stuck to steep snow to avoid class 5 cliffs, but one 40 foot band must be climbed 1/3 of the way up. intersected the summit ridge north of the summit of southwest cannon peak. traversed to the hidden lake trail above hidden lake. (not easy!) and hitchiked back to our car. this was a semi-involved route to say the least.

Climbed with Vern Ingraham and Pat Hymark and Andy Hoiland. We continued over to the main summit and down to Logan Pass.
