Wow!Holy cats - I wonder if that face on the left has been climbed... What's the rock like in that area?

Re: Wow!Good question. I have no idea. Most of the rock in the Gore Mountain Range is a mix of chossy, loose talus on solid, bomber rock. Good climbing if you spend the time to clean the route.
Long approaches and primitive trails.

Wow!Benny Bach and I did an 8-pitch 5.7+ on that face on the left in 1998 or so. CAn't remember which years....
