Starting a spur-of-the-moment Ripsaw traverse. I hiked to near Upper Piney Lake, took a chute up to the ridge, and got here after crossing the bump with the "Black ET" benchmark. Trip report.

Unforgettable Climb
Excellent day by myself deep in the Gore Range. I took the long scenic Piney trail and then made my way up to the saddle between F and G. The scrambling was interesting and fun. Got on some difficult exposed terrain on the summit headwall, but took a much easier gulley down and around a ledge on the way down. Peak G is one of the better Gore range summits.
