Pedraforca from Gosol
Nice and quieter variant to the usual approach hike from above Saldes, starting in the village of Gosol and reaching Coll del Verdet from the Collada del Teuler and the ridge of La Grallera. Reached the summit of Pollegó Superior via usual route up N face. Easy and enjoyable Grade 1+ scrambling. Down via Enforcadura and the screes heading W from the col.

Traverse of main summit
Easy traverse via Col de Verdet. No views at all - foggy conditions all the way. Good thing is that there weren't that many people due to the crappy weather.
Climbed the lower peak (Polligo Inferior) via the Gran Diagonal the next day - highly recommended. And even better: you're pretty much alone.

Amazing mountain
I climbed across col de Verdet (easy scrambling of I+) descending across L'Enforcadura to return to refugi Lluis Estasen and parking of Mirador de Gresolet.

Hot n' dry
Set out too late in the day so did all the ascent under the full heat of the sun - ran out of water and got very dehydrated. Learned a lesson there. Still got to the top tho' and didn't see a single person en route, in the middle of summer! Perfect.

Route Climbed: La Grallera Date Climbed: July 22 2001Jeroni Soler and Lluís Canals climbed Pedraforca by "La Grallera" route. It is a nice and easy route, but almost nobody seems to know it.
