beautiful country

Being near Malheur Reservoir I didnt expect to see pine trees around Pedro, this is a pretty desolate area of Oregon.

This was kind of a pretty hike in June. It did snow on us a bit on the summit. The trees here aren't very big. Weyerhauser isn't logging the area. Mining claims are all around here.
