Route Climbed: Normal Route from Rainetto Bivak Date Climbed: august 2021
Quiet night in the Rainetto Bivak. Alone on the summit and continued to Aiguille de Tré-la-Tête. Great views towards the Tournette Spur on Mont Blanc.
At the end of the snow slope you'll find a big cairn which marks the start of the descent to the glacier below. Don't climb the Petit Mont Blanc along the rock ridge starting from the cairn. Loose and bad rock. Traverse right under the summit rocks and find the easier path which only requires some scrambling to get to the summit

Climbed in one day from the valley. Perfect weather - no cloud in the sky - and awesome views of Mt. Blanc. Snow ridge climbed by mounting crampons on my trailrunning shoes.
Climbed with my partner Marcin on the way to Aiguilles de Trélatéte via Rainetto bivouac. Perfect weather and we could see the teams summiting on the ridge of Mont Blanc.

On the way back
I climbed the Petit Mont Blanc after the return from the attempt to climb the Aiguille de Trelatete. Fantastic view from the summit.

Route Climbed: normal Date Climbed: sept. 1989From Rainetto bivouac. Huge impassable crevasses after a very dry season prevented us from climbing Aig. de Trélatête. Nice weather and view...
