LOL, actually I'm rather having trouble with my back! I've been immobile for the better part of last weekend but now I decided I needed some more fun. Lying down all day just doesn't make sense to me....
I actually feel much better now - fanny or not. Actually "Pfanne" means pan and I don't really see how you can combine this with "Spitze" (=peak). But the Austrians are supposed to be strange anyway, hehe.
Thanks Britt! I have seen that you have taken a beating about your last page. Group pages are a very sensitive issue. We usually discuss the groups in the Europe forum before seting them up. It takes quite a while and not everybody will agree in the end but it pays to discuss things. It's not the first time and won't be the last. Keep up your spirit!
Thanks for the support Gangolf! I didn't realize we had a message board until just yesterday so now that I know maybe I won't be behind on the times. LOL! But yes, it's all settled well now and I'm thankful for all the great people on this site. Have a good one Gangolf and keep up the good work!
Mountains you post, behave by the 'half-half' principle. For half I heard already, for half not. This one is in the first group. And it really offers a nice panorama!

Had a trip report (the one about Peralba) in which it featured. The fact is that I didn't think of putting it up - I climbed it "accidentally". But then I read about the climbing routes in the north-west face, one of which is supposed the most difficult in the Carnic Alps. There seems to be no escape possible, once you have reached a certain pitch (need to look up which). So it's either make it or break it.
Together with all those WW I fortifications I wrote about in the TR it should become an interesting page ...
