 I've just climbed to the top of Everest from Challenger Deep, at the bottom of the Mariana Trench. A total of 7,634 ascents of my stairs at home during all the UK Lockdowns etc. So, to make sure, I've had to go back to Everest from Olympus Mons that I am currently climbing, to add one more stair ascent to make sure I can tick Everest off on my list.

No changes to Olympus Mons please, I'm working on that being 72,000 feet, or 8,471 stair ascents.
Nearly seven years into writing my book on Short-eared Owls and great progress being made. Now starting to get proof prints of the first chapters.

Maybe. Every few years those countries claim a new elevation for Everest. Every time after the media attention slows, the accepted elevation goes back to 29,029 feet/8848 meters.
