Hello all

My buddy and I are headed up Mt Whitney tomorrow via the Standard Trail, camping at Trail Camp, and summiting via Trail Crest. Anyone with beta on recent trail conditions? Thanks a bunch! David

Last weekend, the switchbacks were still heavily snowed up. No parties over the course of 2 days made it through them except one party that came down them after summitting via the snow gully to the right of them.

I summited via that same gully (directly below Trail Crest) and descended it on the return. Hope this helps others.

I'll ask the same question in another two weeks but has anyone been up Whitney recently? My hike isn't for 3 weeks but checking in....... also what about Kearsrage Pass?
