looking for recent BETA and conditions on the approach to Bear Creek Spire? Is there a lot of snow in Little Lakes Valley? Specifically, once you head to Gem and Dade Lakes and up to the base of the climb?

Yes, lots of snow. I was out climbing Mills on Friday and was rather impressed with the amount of snow. For the approach to BCS, you will most likely be in rather continuous snow from Gem Lakes. There is even snow on the North arete route and certainly on the NE ridge route. Ulrich is nearly filled in and Cox Col has very little dry rock showing.
