Gareth:
Rob's all over that "goofy breathing-plastic-thingy."

Depclimb:
"Did the llama I sent ever make it?"
I'll check tonight.

DMT:
Rob told me you remind him of a young George Clooney.

He was in llama-llama land, George.

He appreciated your visit, 'specially since you both have been through this.

Rob was amazed, humbled and pleased when he found out this thread had exceeded 10K views.

depclimb: If you sent the beige and white llama, Rob has it. It was sitting next to his head when I arrived.

The guy is incredible. He has had this horrible accident, 2 surgeries and still has such positive spirits. He did say that he was in a great deal of pain after the latest surgery until his pain meds were adjusted. I didn't stay too long today as the folks came in to take him to have a CT scan.

Gene, we need to get together and meet. :D

I don't know you personally, but your llama jokes are unmistakeable on this website. I wish you a speedy and complete recovery. Best Wishes!! :D

Rob!!!! Now to many people care about what you say and do (and not just the llamas). \

Hope you have a VERY speedy and full recovery. That pic that Kris showed looks aweful.

I spent an hour with Rob this evening. There is continual improvement every day. He is in for a long recovery, but as with Aesop's proverbial story, slow and steady wins the race.

There is more good news in that this was my last visit with him here in Modesto. Tomorrow morning Rob is to be transported to Santa Clara Valley Rehab Hospital. I now turn the reins over to the South Bay members of the SP family. Rob is very thankful for all the prayers, positive vibes and general good wishes that have been sent his way.

That's very good news that Rob is on his way to rehab. Hopefully that means no more surgeries, and he can get on with the arduous task of getting back on his feet. Does anyone have contact info for his new abode?
