Picacho Peak.....

This is a once/twice a year hike for me.(Winter & Spring also cause I live in WA State.)I have climbed it in the afternoon and morning. By far this is the best hike to watch the sunrise so start early(0500). Its great starting early too becuase you beat the foot traffic(boy scouts and SLOW people). Conditions in november are great!!; cool temps, slight breeze, excellent views. The views are great looking over at table top, newmans peak, and others. Its a nice easy hike that is great for passing time on the mountain. Take the hunter tail for a quick climb or sunset trail for a SLOW flat hike. Till next year. later.
