Pine Grove - Rock Creek Junction

The trail from the Pine Grove climbs 450' in 0.6 miles and at this point joins the main trail from Rock Creek Lake. Note the stream just beyond the signpost -- In August of a low snow year (2012), this was the only water before Hilton Creek.
