American marten (also called pine marten) Martes americana

This guy kept us company on the summit of the Matterhorn (San Juan mountains, Colorado) for 10+ minutes on 26 July 2019. He or she seemed like a young one waiting for mother to return - it was very curious about us and spent time grooming, sun-bathing, and rolling around like a kitten.
