Piva canyon
In the amazing canyon of Piva river, that is 1000m deep! Piva makes western border of wider Durmitor area. Unfortunately most of the river has been turned into the 180m lake and lower fifth of the canyon submerged when in late 60's and early 70's 220m high dam was constructed. Last 10km below dam, before Piva meets Tara river, everything is as it used to be. On the right are tunnels of the Niksic - Scepan Polje road.
