A great Dolomitic panorama
Never mind the crowds, I enjoyed our climb from the Passo Pordoi and found the sights absolutely incredible. Most specially the upper Val Lastres from the Forcella di Pordoi

from val di mesdi
hiked with my brother up through val di mesdi. quite a lot of snow at the upper and steepest part of the valley. got to the rif boe and from there to the summit. amazing views.
Did a little roundtour: Sass Pordoi - Piz Boe - Piz Lech Dlace - Rifugio Boe - Sass Pordoi. climbed after a 14 hour drive from Holland as a warm-up for a week of climbing in the Dolomites. There was a lot of snow for the beginning of July and unfortunately one of the most crowded peaks i've seen. But still, Views are amazing.
Beautiful weather, amazing view of Punta Penia. But also a lot of people ... mainly caused by a lift.

Piz Boè
I was on the Piz Boè sometime in the middle of August 1985. Lousy weather, zero view, crammed with people like on the highway during rush hour. And this was on a bad day - I wonder what the population rate up there is in beautiful weather?
