Route Climbed: Zabljak - Alisnica Valley - Planinica (2330 m) summit Date Climbed: July 10th, 2005
That was my third time to reach the beautiful summit of Planinica (2330 m). Before that ascent everybody in Zabljak (1456 m) told me - "It will rain in afternoon", but anyway i was going. The clouds protected me from the strong summer sun and my ascent was more confortable, without too much dehidration. In Alisnica Valley (1915 m - 2091 m) i meat some beautiful horses which freely runing on wide grassy plateaus of that amazing valley.
Soon i saw incredible massif of Bezimeni Vrh (2487 m)(No Name Peak) and after 20 minutes i reached the Planinica (2330 m) summit.
What to say? Just - "Amazing!!!"
Many incredible views of different parts of Durmitor's massif, specially to it's highest peaks Bezimeni Vrh (2487 m), Bobotov Kuk (2523 m) & Djevojka (2440 m), impressive Sareni Pasovi (Stit, 2248 m) & Samar (2075 m) pass, view to giant Prutas (2393 m) which staying oposite to Planinica, and finally - amazing Dolina Skrckih Jezera (Skrka Lakes Valley, 1723 m) with two beautifully glacial lakes, belowe. Sinjajevina (2277 m) & Moracke Planine (Moraca Mountains, 2226 m) behind Sareni Pasovi-in the distance, Susica Canyon on the right-below, Mt Bioc (2393 m), Mt Maglic (2388 m) & Mt Volujak (2336 m) on the right, in the background.
Even not so difficult peak for climbing (typical hiking route), but for sure one of the best in whole Durmitor's massif. Very comfortable peak for wholeday unforgetable enjoyment! One of the best Durmitor's viewpoint peaks! Together, with Prutas (2393 m)!
P.S. Finally, i came back in the Zabljak town and had lucky with weather. It was not raining. My intuition was good.
