A friend and I will be hiking Payramid Peak in California on September 27-28. Pyramid Peak is in the Desolation wilderness near Lake Tahoe. We are going to drive up on Saturday the 27th before our day hike of the peak on Sunday the 28th. You are welcome to share our accommodations with us on Saturday night or get your own room. We will stay in Kyburns which is very close to the trailhead.

This will be a long all day hike but easily doable for a fit person. Please check out the Summit Post page on Pyramid peak for more detailed information on the hike. We will hike the West Ridge (Lake Sylvia) route.
