Perhaps few words about biking, despite such field is reserved for sites like MBpost ? I've read many times Pohorje was a fantastic mountain biking area. Each year there is some championship near Maribor.
Thanks for your compliment! I'm not an expert of mountian biking. I found an MT biking map and linked it into the article (at the end). But if you have a good summary, I'm happy to extend the text with that!
I think that the positive aspect of Pohorje for mountain bikers is that if ever you are on 1450 m altitude, you can bike 40 kilometers practically without any ascent and descent if you follow the main "ridge"
Exactly, the slopes are very gradual and generous. It would be interesting to find if any protected area is restricted from biking. Unfortunately I have no biking experience in this massif, just short walk, however if I was impressed by the amount of cyclers.
I dared to insert one illustration about the geology og Pohorje into the relevant chapter. There's some explanation accompanying it, so to make the editing process easier to you, I did the insertion (with my elf rights). Normally, I never change the content of pages, so also for this exception I'm asking you to deliberately change whatever you'd not be comfortable with :)
