Ponderosa parklands are one of the reasons for going to Mill Creek. Hopefully the fire a few years ago will have cleared the underbrush and left the old ponderosa pines intact. Location is secret family campsite not to far from the intersection where the trail branches to Belknap or Twin Pillars.
