Surprise

I don't think this pool is visible from the road. I certainly did not expect to see a pool on Cave Knoll.

It's absolutely not visible from the road. It's high on the ridge, not far from the summit, and not much lower than it, either. All the vegetation suggests it might hold water most of the year, too. There were a couple others on the ridge, but none as large or as deep as this one.
