Bravo!

Nice write up Kevin, and grats to Sarah on her first alpine trad lead. Well done all the way around. Looks like a great way to do Potosi!

Bright Green Rope!

I think I recognize Sarah and Dominic, and especially that bright green rope!

Re: Bright Green Rope!

Right you are :). That rope gets a lot of mileage!

You're right

Colorado 13ers don't get a lot of attention, too much of that 14er mentality in that state. Someone told me once that there are only 54 peaks in Colorado! Your chosen route looks totally cool.

Nice work.

I'd love to ski that couloir from Weehawken Basin to make it fun.. longer. Very nice angle from Coffe Pot down the valley. Do you think Coffee Pot needs rope? Compared to the kitty litter descent of Potosi I thought "the pot" seemed solid and safe sans cord. thanks for the fun! kitty litter is right...

Coffeepot

Seth:

Yeah, some people are comfortable enough to free Coffeepot because the chimney protects you pretty well from the exposure. It would be a bit spicy to downclimb though! The mantel move at the top might be kind of hard to reverse.
