Falcon Closures
This trail is closed part of the sprung and summer. These cliffs and surrounding areas are used by peregrine falcons, a state-listed endangered species, for nesting and rearing young fledglings. Peregrine falcons are very sensitive to disturbance near the nest site. This year (2011) the trail is closed March 15 - August 15th, but it can open earlier if the biologists say it's OK.
