A beautiful hike with wife and son. Truly an epic place for a photo to capture one sitting on the edge of the magnificent cliff face and overlooking the amazing view of the fjord. If it were in the U.S. there would be guard rails and warning signs everywhere spoiling the beautiful spot completely. I love Norway who totally gets the "take responsibility yourself" when it comes to enjoying and preserving the experience of nature.

Ran up with Trond
Amazing. Esben set me up with Trond who graciously drove me out and ran up Preikestolen with me. We had stopped by the outdoor store and grabbed MicroSpikes before as we were told it was very dangerous and shouldn't be climbed yet, but didn't end up using them. Probably should have, but didn't. Took abou 45 min to the top. Had a great time on top on a perfect day with few people. Ran around on top, sat dangling my legs off the edge, etc. Then we went and trudged through knee deep snow up to the top of Neverdalsfell peak which took maybe 20 or so minutes to get there. Took in the views one more time on the way back down, grabbed some more pics and had a nice 35 minute run back to the car and had a killer Citron Fanta at the Lodge. Thanks Trond!
The most crowded hike I have ever done in my life. The line of cars parked on the side of the road after the regular parking lots were full went on for over 3 kilometers. The pulpit itself was so crowded one actually felt a little nervous that somebody might bump you off the edge. But a great place, though Kjerag was a lot more fun and a whole lot more scary.

This will get them reved up! One of those crowded places where you say, "I can't belive they're doing this in those?" We flew up in an hour and almost ran down. All the rock hopping was really fun. One of the coolest places even with the crowds.

Florence and I climbed in rainy weather this nice hike. there was quite a lot of people but we continued up to Neverdalsfjellet which was covered. It took around 4hs taking it very easy, enjoying the cliffs, taking pictures and having coffee & chocolate in the majestic altar.
