This herd was crossing the road (most of them are blurry due to their speed) as we drove out but the value of this picture is showing the road itself and the isolated beauty of this part of Nevada. 3-25-12

Pure isolation ...

I remember driving north of Winnemucca one time
... well, maybe twice .. and came across
some antelope amongst the obsidian beds.

The beauty of Nevada will eat you up and
spit you out ! !
