Mt. Stimson may be one of the two or three toughest climbs I had remaining to complete the list of 4000-foot+ prominence peaks in the 48 states, so I was EXCITED on the summit! Of course there was still this little remaining detail of getting back off the beast and back to camp in one piece. Now I've gotta keep going strong for as many years as possible to pick off the remaining tough ones on my lists -- Washington's Jack Mountain, Mt. Spickard, and Whitehorse Mountain spring to mind, as well as Kintla Peak in Glacier National Park. And there are others. So Many Mountains, So Little Time (AKA SMMSLT). August 12, 2008.

Pretty incredible

I love that list and will try to get mine put together. I counted 70 done which is halfway. Love that summit smile of yours, you always exhibit such joy. Congrat's on your success in 2008, not bad for a guy who is in his sixties.
