Punk Rock & "Rabbit Ears" therapy?

Punk Rock (spire) and "Rabbit Ears," ('aka' Oak Creek Spire), as seen from the west at an elevation of 4,800 feet. This is east of Courthouse Butte, at the southern end of the West Ridge of Arizona's Lee Mountain. I hope you're not too "boggled" by the description. If you are, just don't get too hot and bothered, because it never helps to get your blood pressure going up too high, or your shorts bunched up too tight. Relax, time is probably on your side. Drink a cold one, and contemplate your next move. It helps to know what direction the wind is coming from. And, please don't ask if I climbed it, because my needs were satisfied by just looking UP at it from below. Is the glass half empty or half full? Only YOU can decide, because the answer is blowing in the wind, my friend. The answer is blowing in the wind. January 16, 2009

Re: GREEN ...

Sure, such a classy move will never be forgotten. There are heated debates going on and on whether it was a 6.1 or 6.2 :) Looking forward to seeing more of that sort of thing I can only dream of in my dull and flat neighborhood.

Re: GREEN ...

I'm guessing it's a 21.99 !

That's the (US dollar) amount I had to pay for another pair of pants after "perfecting" the Duffersitz maneuver !!!

Re: GREEN ...

Actually, I'm afraid it's due to inflation. As far as I can remember, in the good old days it was estimated at 5.90, which is still an amazing achievement, beyond the reach of less creative climbers!!!

Re: GREEN ...

YEAH - I think it was so-called "inflation"
that prevented me from logging on to SP for
the past 15 hours.

Instead of dreaming of red butterflies like I
normally do, I had a fitful dream of Red
Demons!

Re: GREEN ...

Luckily, some green faces are still surviving although in the red and with no iron horses in sight any more.

Re: GREEN ...

Such is the paradox that the world's
inhabitants must face.

When I contemplate the future of mankind,
my face turns red!

Re: GREEN ...

That is really sad.

Is an "American influence" being blamed for
the dumping of garbage?

We should all be more responsible, but in the
end, our land will be wasted in the hands of
fools.

After that, the fool's empire will turn into
sand.

Re: GREEN ...

Maybe for part of the plastic, but not for the dumping. Human stupidity is to blame, and uneven development: economic, educational, social, organizational, first and foremost of the brain - you're right, absolutely.
