Pusch Peak
Had the peak all to myself this morning. First .75 miles is on relatively flat and easy terrain. After that, it’s a a bit steep with having to use hands a bit for stability. Views from the top were fantastic, especially in the morning light.

Run up with Ben - 1:40 Round Trip
Left less than 30 min before sunset...so we did quite a bit in the dark...and picked a fair amount of cactus hairs out of ourselves as a result.
I looked up at this mountain from the resort we’re staying at and thought to myself “how sick would it be to bag that peak.” So we did. And it was awesome...incredible sunset from the summit.

Pusch Peak
Short & STEEP as indicated! The "social trail" was better than lots of "regular" trails I've done. Gneiss views; had the summit to myself.

Linda Vista "Ladder"!
A great quick climb right in Tucson. The distance of the trail and the elevation isn't anything special but the steepness of it will make you pay. I like this climb because the "ladder" of a trail and the amazing 360 views makes a 5200' mountain worth it.

From the North..
Excuse my feeble memory, but I remember parking my car close to a
dude ranch overrun with Snowbirds.
I started out on a 4WD road, then had to go "cross-country" towards the peak. There were vast tracts of "Shin-daggers" and a
few Cholla Pom-Poms; but I saw several Bighorn sheep, which kept
my spirits up and kept me going to the summit. Outstanding views!

From Linda Vista
So pleasantly surprised by this mountain! Right there, in the middle of the suburbs of Tucson, is this rugged desert peak. Just loved this mountain: Cactus gardens, blooming desert wildflowers, Saguaros, dynamite views - all of it.
