Impressive visible Bura

You must be on the sea side because the wind is blowing left to right across the picture.

Thanks Mark! Yes, this is seaboard side of the massif and Bura blows down the mountain, so that would be from right to left. When Bura is strong and cap big then it is cloudy on the continental side of the massif (below the cap) and frequently in whole Lika region behind Velebit. It is like huge cloud field which disappears when it spills over the Velebit. Depending of the temperature cap disappears on certain altitude because warmer air can absorb more moisture and just degree or two make the difference. When it is cold and Bura very strong cap can descent to low altitudes on seaboard side.
