Rapid River and Coconut Grove

Coconut Grove is the name given to this isolated clump of trees in this open Canyon Grassland. The two forks of Rapid River meet in the distance near the center of the photo. The canyon beyond is the Little Salmon River. The distant high point at the upper left is Patrick Butte. July 2006
