Beautiful pic!An excellent photo of the red rock, and the contrast with the blue sky came out really well!
I'm afraid I don't even know anybody who knows anybody who knows anybody who knows anybody who knows anybody who knows anybody who knows anybody who knows anybody who knows anybody who knows anybody who knows ANYBODY who knows anybody who knows anybody that climbed it, but after seeing your pic - I feel like climbing it myself! :-)
Greetings,
Eric

"Nobody knows,
Nobody knows but me..
That I sometimes cry.
If I could pretend that I'm asleep,
When my tears start to fall..
I peek out from behind these walls,
I think nobody knows ... at ALL."

I've been looking at the angle'sBeen pondering that one for a while, havn't seen a route I'd try yet, of course I'm a wimp when it gets rotten.

Re: I've been looking at the angle'sYeah, me too. I've just recently made it up the ones on both sides though, 12566 and 12338. I've gotten some good close up views of Red Castle and no magic route has become apparent.

Re: I've been looking at the angle'sI was looking at the photo you took from the north and made a tentative line up it, though in this and other photos that east face seems much more steep than I thought. It seems like from this photo it could possibly be accessed from the south as well, if I could down climb from the saddle through the cliff bands between these two peaks, then follow the terrace north a bit, then pick a route up.
The east face of this one reminds me a bit of the Razorback Terrace traverse I've done on Timp a couple times, similar gradient and exposure, tons of choss. Pure bait on these photos of this peak...

Re: I've been looking at the angle'sI wish I had gone closer to the edge to get more of the face in the picture.
